The roll forming system for galvanized sheet metal efficiently produces structural profiles, such as electrical cable trays and supports for solar panels, using sheets up to 3 mm thick. It operates at a high productivity rate  in continuous operation. The system is easy to use, even for less experienced operators.

Key components include a motorized uncoiler, an eccentric press, an electronic feeder, and a roll forming line. These parts are integrated into a sturdy framework and controlled by a PLC with encoder synchronization to ensure precise operation. The system allows you to set the profile length and quantity through the PLC, making production flexible and automated.

Roll Forming System Components:

  • Motorized Uncoiler: Feeds the coil into the system. It handles a 2-ton maximum capacity and allows speed adjustment via an inverter.
  • Eccentric Press: Offers oversized tonnage for versatile mold changes. This feature supports the production of various profiles, such as electrical cable trays and supports for solar panels.
  • Electronic Feeder: Advances material while keeping it synchronized with the press and roll forming line for smooth operation.
  • PLC with 15-inch Touch Screen: Controls machine operations, detects faults, and starts automated processing. The optional Industry 4.0 software enables real-time production data monitoring.
  • Roller Profiling Line: Motorized and controlled by encoders for precise profile shaping.

Operational Workflow:

  • Profile Production: Set the profile length and quantity on the PLC. Press the START button to begin automated production.
  • Material Advancement: The electronic feeder moves the material while the press remains disengaged, ensuring smooth synchronization.
  • Profile Cutting: The system pauses for 2 seconds to cut the profile, then resumes operation. The cut profile is automatically transferred to the ejection system.
  • Material Handling: Finished profiles are moved to a collector, holding them at the desired length for easy removal.
