The machine for Iron Shutters is designed to create 60×10 slots on tubular iron bars with a maximum length of 3 meters. The  machine works on two profiles simultaneously, achieving a productivity of around 2 bars in 1 minute and 30 seconds.

The machine, compliant with CE standards, consists of a base, a standard hydraulic unit (with a cooling system), an electrical control panel, a hydraulic unit with two molds, a profile feed system, a PLC for automated process management, and sensors to ensure proper machine operation.

How Does the Automatic Slot Punching Machine for Iron Shutters Work?

To start, production data is input into the PLC, including the technical specifications of the profile, such as length, slot dimensions, and the number of pieces to produce.

By pressing the START button, the process begins automatically. An operator manually inserts the profiles, and a feed system moves the bars to the necessary position under the hydraulic unit equipped with two molds, which simultaneously punches the two profiles.

The machine allows adjustment of the pitch and offers the option to slot only the area where the oblique slats will be inserted, ensuring a better construction and a pleasing aesthetic result.

The machine’s core is the PLC, which manages and optimizes production, coordinating the different parts of the machine and moving components, as well as controlling active safety measures and detection sensors.
